Due to a technical error at the start of Alliance Campaigns on ES1, S5, M1, M2, M3 and M4 which caused a great imbalance in the campaign itself, we have decided to roll the above-mentioned servers back to their initial state before maintenance on Thursday, 30 Dec, 2am server time (i.e. right before the start of war week). For details, please visit http://www.dawnofnations.com/forum_load.php?t=3070

The rollback will take approximately 120 minutes and servers should be back up by 11:00pm server time. We understand that this will inevitably create some inconveniences for you, and we sincerely apologize for the mistake on the campaign and the rollback.

To compensate you for your time and effort, every player will be able to claim 50 Diamonds through the Missions panel.

In addition,

1) The start of war week will be extended by 48 hours. War week will now commence on Sunday, 1 Jan, 20:00 server time. This also means all regular alliance functions such as voting, joining, kicking etc... will be re-enabled until Sunday, 1 Jan, 20:00 server time. Hopefully this will give everyone a bit of time off to spend with family and friends during New Year's Eve.

2) For those who transferred Diamonds to their servers between now and the last maintenance, we will manually re-credit your accounts after the rollback.

3) The server rollback will undo any other changes/actions performed since maintenance such as going on Truce, Vacation mode etc. If your account is affected, email us directly at cs@element36.com. Please note that we will not entertain forum posts on this matter so you MUST email us in order to receive a response. We will deal with each enquiry on a case-by-case basis and will do our best to restore your account to its intended state.

Thank you for being patient and waiting for this patch to be implemented. Here are some of the changes you can expect once you enter:

[Improvements]

★ Added offline time to guild member info, which will be displayed by days: guild members who have not logged into the game for less than 24 hours will be displayed as Long-term Online, more than 24 hours as Offline for 1 day, more than 48 hours as Offline for 2 days, more than 30 days as Longer than 30 days.”
★ Increased the upper limit of gold you can store in your inventory to 10 billion and added a prompt when hitting the upper limit.
★ Moved unclaimed gift packages in the Claim Your Gift Package window to the top, so you may access your unclaimed gift packages more easily.
★ Added a prompt Free of charge for players under lvl 30 on Reset Stat Points interface.
★ Added friends level info to the friends list.
★ Added a third column of Guild Warehouse slots, which require gold to be enabled. Each upgrade will enable one row of slots available for use, with the price of each row of slots as follows: 8 million, 9 million, 10 million and 12 million gold.

★ Modified the level of potions which will be refreshed in the alchemy store. Now the potions available in the alchemy store will be consistent with your character’s current level and more appropriate for use.

[Bug Fixes]

★ Fixed the defending time error shown after a victorious defending guild war. The defending time should be 40 minutes instead of 0; in addition, improved compatibility with IE.

★ Fixed the socket loss of True* equipment in RotTrace Mire instance

We will be performing regular server maintenance on January 13, 2011. The maintenance hours as scheduled are from CST 12:00 AM to CST 1:30 AM.

Alliance Campaigns will begin on ES1, S5, M1, M2, M3, and M4. They will last for three weeks, including the two week voting period, and they will end on Thursday, January 6, 2011 20:00PM Server Time.

The Element36 Team is thrilled to present you with the launch of our premier Dragon's Call server. We know you all like competition. With the opening of our first server, we ask the question... who will be the fastest at leveling through the world of StillLand?

Great prizes are to be obtained by those with the bravery to face the great dragons, orcs, and elementals littering the StillLand landscape. The weather is getting cold, and winter is just around the corner. You might already see Christmas decorations going up in your home town. Are you getting excited for the coming holidays? To kick off this happy holiday season, we present you the Dawn of Nations Thanksgiving Celebration!

This event will start on Nov. 18 and lasts for 2 whole weeks. During the event, you’ll have quite a lot fun hunting and eating turkeys. The details are listed below:

1.      Small Feast - By defeating inland fields, you have a small chance of getting various ingredients for cooking a Small Feast. You can turn them in thru daily missions for Small Feasts. (check the detailed list in the mission description)

Small Feast increases the morale of current city by 30 while also decreasing its complaints by 30. There is no cooldown between uses.

2.      Huge Feast – During this event, Special Event Fields will have new troops: Enraged Turkey (Ground Troops), Flying Turkey (Air Troops) and HUGE Turkey (An extremely powerful turkey boss). After defeating a Turkey Farm, you’ll get 20~40 Primal Turkeys for cooking a Huge Feast. (check the detailed list in the mission description)

Huge Feast increases the exp of your officer by 1,350,000(about 1/20 of the total exp needed from lvl 1 to lvl 100)

3.      Players who meet the reputation requirements will get a Small Feast and a Huge Feast for free.

4.      Thanksgiving Pack: Contains Assembly Bugle*1, Advance Resettlement Plan*1, Star Badge*10, Officer Battle Manual*10, Signal Flare*10. The original price is more than 400 diamonds, and it’s being sold for only 200 diamonds! Only 10 available to each player.

5.      Free Token for the holiday as always. Collect these for a big reward later.

6.      Each feast ingredient (except the primal turkey) can also be used individually, increasing the morale of current city by 1 while decreasing its complaints by 1. No cooldown between uses. You can also get the ingredients from the Blitzkrieg Outlet for a nice price.

Important Notes:

**There is only one Huge Turkey per Turkey Field. The Huge Turkey will restore its HP to full at the start of every turn. Come prepared - you MUST kill it within one round in order to win the fight, or you will probably lose your army. It’s NOT recommended to attack the turkey farm with pure air forces.

Disclaimer:

Small/Huge Feasts and their ingredients are wholly organic and thus have an expiration date. ALL unused feasts/ingredients WILL DISAPPEAR when the event ends. There will be no refund if you forgot to use your feasts/ingredients after the event has ended. Please, just enjoy the food during the event.

We have made lots of announcements, both in-game, e-mail, forum, banners, the works, so hopefully you have selected your commander, turned in your navy, and are ready to begin fighting a whole new battle on ES1 - Iwo Jima (ES stands for ELITE SERVER).
